Click on the switch. So, in FSX all these actions only require you to use the mouse and press/hold/release the single button (Space). In x-plane in addition to the mouse I need to use 3 more keys ( O, +, -) and probably remove my hand from the mouse to use the keyboard (to zoom) and then move it back to the mouse to click on the switch. Not sure if I still need to hold the O key or what will happen if I release it (will I loose the view if I release it and my mouse moves?).5. In X-Plane we need to use keyboard for that. In FSX you use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out. Often, it will require one more action - zoom the view as the switch can be too small. And now try to point the cursor to the switch. Press and hold the O key to freeze the view. I did not know about the O key (and did not try it yet), so I suspect it's supposes to provide the same functionality - freeze the view. In x-plane, when you move the mouse the view is always changing and makes it difficult to point the cursor on the switch. In FSX you just release the Space key and the view become frozen and not moving anymore with the mouse, which makes the cursor pointing easier. Moving the mouse, find that switch and try to point the cursor to that switch. Remove my hand from the joystick and put it on the mouse (that's fine - nothing wrong with that :-) )2. Let's say I'm in 747 Virtual Cockpit on approach when I need to quickly react to ATC instructions. So, in order to just turn off a switch, or press a button, I need:1. It could also be assigned to a joystick button.O (the letter) will freeze the pan for as long as the button is pressed.W returns to forward 2D view. The problem is that this model requires too many actions. Moving the mouse will move the view. This assignment is changeable in the key settings. Shift+0 (zero) will do what SPACE does in FSX. imagine the number of FSX'ers that would give XP a shot if we could map XP to function close to FSX. One you release the Space button, your mouse will be working as usual wothout camera movements.Another option (even better) would be to use a mouse wheel button anstead of the Space. Is it possible in x-plane?Thank you,Dmitry.I would like that functionality as well. Any help or guide from LR would be much appreciated and help a lot to bring more FSX users to X-Plane.Why don't we use this topic to discuss and find help on any such problems?Below is the problem that i have right now:What I'm trying to achive is to use mouse the same way as it works in FSX for camera movements in Virtual Cockpits. So, is it possible to setup it this way:You press and hold Space button on your keyboard and while you hold it, you can use mouse to view around in the Virtual Cockpit. Hi,I beleave, one of the biggest problems for FSX users is to find the way to use the same keyboard/joystick assignments/functionality in x-plane as in FSX.

The Cap Corner Boulder provides a finished end to a course of Cap Boulders. This unit has a convex textured face that is consistent with the front faces of all other LondonBoulder units. A Verti-Crete precast panel makes for a perfect retaining wall to steadily hold the earth behind it. With its 24″ depth and 48″ length, the 90° Return Boulder creates a perfect half bond across both faces of a 90° wall. Shape-shift your landscape with a strong retaining wall that will elevate not only your lot but also its aesthetics. If your radius is extremely tight, simply knock off the necessary box lugs and rely on the ball lug to keep the two units interlocked. The tapered block is a benefit when building curved walls as it allows the turning of a radius in shorter distances and with no cutting. The primary characteristics of the Full Boulder are its 48″ front face tapering back to a 32″ rear face, with two parallel channels on the top surface and two interlocking box lugs on the bottom surface. The following two videos cover the features of sound as they propagate into a different medium, alongside other sound waves or around corners. Wave superposition occurs when two or more sound waves are travelling through the same medium at the same time, the net displacement at any point in time, is simply the sum of the individual wave displacements. R esonance is the tendency of a system to vibrate with increasing amplitudes at unique frequencies of excitation. Diffraction is the bending of sounds waves around obstacles and openings. Reflection of sound waves occurs when it strikes the surface of another medium and bounces back in some other direction, causing echoes more than 0.1 seconds after the original sound wave was heard. In this post, we conduct investigations to analyse the reflection, diffraction, resonance and superposition of sound waves, as a part of the Prelim Physics course under the module Waves and Thermodynamics and sub-part Sound Waves. Those that wish to display the wand will likely want to rotate it so that the black text is not visible during casual viewing. One thing Burke notes is that the wand does feature copyright information on its side. The coloring and design of this wand does match the one found in the collection of wands, however, this version also includes the gorgeous packaging and collector’s box. This replica measures in at 15 inches or 38 centimetres. The Wand of Newt Scamander is, as the name suggests, the same magical instrument that Newt uses in the Fantastic Beasts movies. The player is awarded points for correctly hitting notes, chords and sustains. A player using the standard controller simply presses the buttons that correspond with the displayed notes as outlined in the game's manual. The game supports toggling the handedness of the guitar, allowing both left-handed and right-handed players to utilize the guitar controller. Faster series of notes may be played on the guitar controller using hammer-on and pull-off techniques where the player does not need to strum each note. To hit or play a note, the player must hold down the fret button corresponding to the note shown and toggle the strum bar at the same time as that note passes a marked area on the screen. Music is displayed on screen through a series of notes, matching in color and position to the fret buttons, that scroll down the screen on a fret board. The peripheral also has other buttons in order to navigate the game's menus. The guitar peripheral has five different-colored fret buttons near the nut of the guitar neck, and a strum bar and a whammy bar on the body of the guitar. In the case of Guitar Hero, the player may use either the guitar peripheral (a 3/4-scale reproduction of the Gibson SG guitar as bundled with the game, or a third-party version) or a standard controller to play the scrolling notes. The basic mechanics are based on Konami's Guitar Freaks. The gameplay is similar to other music and rhythm video games, in that the player must press buttons on a game controller in time with scrolling notes on the game screen to complete a song. The interface shows the player's score and score multiplier (left), Star Power meter (right), and Rock Meter (bottom right). See also: Common gameplay elements in the Guitar Hero series To play a note, the fret button and strum bar must be pressed when the solid note scrolls through the corresponding ring at the bottom. The game's success launched the Guitar Hero franchise, which has earned more than $2 billion in sales, spawning several sequels, expansions, and other game-related products. Guitar Hero became a surprise hit, earning critical acclaim and winning many awards from major video game publications, and is considered one of the most influential games of its decade. The game features covers of 30 popular rock songs spanning five decades of rock, from the 1960s up through 2005, in addition to bonus tracks. The gameplay is similar to GuitarFreaks, in that the player presses buttons on the guitar controller in time with musical notes that scroll on the game screen. The game features a guitar-shaped controller (resembling a miniature Gibson SG) that the player uses to simulate playing rock music. The game's development was a result of collaboration between RedOctane and Harmonix to bring a Guitar Freaks-like game to United States. Guitar Hero was released in November 2005 in North America, April 2006 in Europe and June 2006 in Australia. It is the first main installment in the Guitar Hero series.
